Watch the Ball Drop Live Online | 2013 New Year Ball Drop Video

The tradition continues as we welcome the New Year with our families, either at home or in the streets to watch the new year ball drop. This is the last event of the year and the first event of the new year. Many go to NYC just to witness this event. It's one of the most anticipated events every year, with billions of people watching it yearly.

Will you be planning to celebrate New Year by going to NYC or you will just watch the 2013 ball drop online? It sure is great to be in the actual site, where the ball, which is a geodesic sphere, 12 feet in diameter and weighs 11,875 pounds will be dropped.

That's not the only attraction though. Aside from the ball drop, there are performances by different entertainers. Last year, it was Lady Gaga who graced the pressing of the ball, who also performed for New Year's Rockin' Eve. Who will do it this year?

Anyway, wherever you are, whether in NYC itself, inside your home or even in other parts of the world, you can watch the coming 2013 ball drop live online. While waiting for it, you can watch the New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013 though I'm not sure if it's going to be available online.

Me, since I couldn't be in NYC, I'll just watch the 2013 new year ball drop online while sipping my wine. It's safer and more convenient though I'm sure it's more fun there. If you are like me who prefers to watch it at home, check back this blog as watch the live streaming here.

New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2013

Welcoming the New Year is most often all about following traditions that we look forward to. One of these is watching the rockin' annual party with Dick Clark in Times Square. For this coming new year, we would be expecting some changes as the man who has been with us for four decades of annual welcomin' sadly died in April 18 of 2012 at the age of 82. The show minus Dick Clark won't pretty much be the same, but it would be good to pay a tribute honoring the legendary producer, which would be hosted by Fergie and Jenny McCarthy. This Dick Clark celebration is called "New Year's Rockin' Eve Celebrates Dick Clark" that starts at 8 pm on Dec. 31 and would run for 2 hours. This would be followed shortly by the Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest. So what do we look forward to on this show? For one, how is it expecting a phone call live with Carly Rae Jepsen? She is amazingly on the spotlight after winning the American Music Award for New Artist of the Year and having been nominated in a variety of Musical Awards. Besides having "Call Me Maybe" star, she will be with Taylor Swift and Neon Trees in NYC. Meanwhile, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas also graces the show to welcome some bigwigs in the west coast party - Flo Rida, Pitbull, One Republic, and Karmin to name a few. Expect to have more artists with us on this show as it would later be revealed to us. Plus, wait for more amazing performances.
